VISION BROCHURE
Strake Jesuit College Preparatory High School
Strake Jesuit is a top-ranked, private Catholic, college preparatory high school for young men. The school was founded in 1960 by the New Orleans Province of the Society of Jesus, a religious order of priests and brothers also known as the Jesuits. The Jesuits bring over four and half centuries of tradition and commitment to academic excellence.
St. Ignatius, the founder of the Jesuits dedicated his entire life to a pilgrim search for the magis, the ever greater glory of God, the ever fuller service of our neighbor, the more universal good, and the more effective apostolic means.
As a Jesuit school, Strake Jesuit's primary and operative self understanding is as an apostolic instrument at the service of the mission of the society of Jesus and of the church. It's mission is "to assist young men in their formation as leaders and as Men for Others through a program of rigorous college preparation in the tradition of the Society of Jesus."
Strake Jesuit's vision brochure communicates the four key priorities set to achieve this mission. Divided into four distinct sections, this elegant design separates each priority, bring awareness to what each means, why they are committed to it and action steps they are committed to taking. The design strategically showcases images to illustrate the culture of the Strake Jesuit community and its mission at work.
